Can Someone Explain Why Jews Cannot Live Anywhere They Want?

L. M. Berkowitz recounts the Hebron massacre from 1929 as told by Pierre Van Paassen. It's not for the faint of heart or stomach.

He concludes with Golda Meir's rejoinder when questioned about Jews living in Judea and Samaria.

Back in 1969, that "right-wing extremist," the late Golda Meir, was interviewed on Meet the Press. She was asked why she was allowing Jews to move back to areas, then recently acquired by Israel as a result of the Six-Day War, from which they had been expelled by the Arabs in 1948. (Yes, people, Jews were expelled by the Arabs in 1948. Let that sink in.) Golda looked the interviewer straight in the eyes and said,

"Explain to me, sir, why the Jews should not be allowed to live anywhere they want!"
